First, reading the people who are giving them a low rating seem to either have no clue what they are talking about, or are self-entitled... I didn't experience anything like they talked about, and brought them something that could have easily been used against me to jack up the prices or services. I'm giving them a five star simply because I brought them a car that wasn't the norm. I have a 1976 Datsun 280Z with a SBC 350 swap in it. I brought it to them to help me with the carburetor, a fuel leak and rear suspension issues I was having difficulty repairing myself. They told me that there were a few cars ahead of me, but still managed to get my car back to me within the week! I was pleased. Fastest shop so far that has seen the car. As far as the service goes, the rear suspension I knew was going to be difficult, but they tackled the issue without even a comment. The carburetor was overhauled and tuned, and they said there was something about the sending unit in the fuel tank that needed replacement. Honestly, I didn't probe much about the sending unit.. There is still a slight leak in the fuel tank (possibly a line issue honestly), leaving a gaseous smell in my garage. (They wouldn't have seen this leak since it needed a full tank and I failed to bring it to them with one). And the carburetor still isn't perfect (After over an hour of driving it, the performance dips and had issues twice with the engine bogging down, as well as a random complete shut off) Both issues I don't blame them for, since they are limited and cannot just take a customer's car out for a two hour shake down drive. The prices were actually "normal" as far as other shops go when it comes to a unique car. Most shops will not even touch my car, and they didn't even hesitate to say yes. For that, and their clear communications and fair pricing, I give them a five star. I'm sure they'd rather not see my car ever again, but I would trust them with further services of my car in the future if it is things I cannot do on my own. I am planning on calling them about the fuel leak and carburetor issue to see what they think and possibly bring it back to have these dealt with (If they are comfortable tackling it again)
