KAMS repaired my classic 1972 Nova this week. This was my second visit, and as before, I am very happy with their work. Steve is the MAN, when you have that special classic that needs attention. I dropped the car off at 4:00 PM with inoperative air conditioning. The office called me at 08:00 AM the next morning with the repair complete. I'm extremely happy with the quality of KAMS' work and customer service.

The service requested was to identify where coolant and oil leaks were originating. The coolant leak was reported as the water pump, but it turned out to be one of the heater hose quick disconnect fittings. I corrected that a few weeks ago for a couple dollars and haven't seen a drop of coolant since. Still get a few drops of oil but I can live with that now that the larger leak has been corrected.

We apologize for whatever confusion took place on your recent visit and that our quality service wasn't up to standards that day. We hope you will give us a chance to make it up and visit us again soon!

First, reading the people who are giving them a low rating seem to either have no clue what they are talking about, or are self-entitled... I didn't experience anything like they talked about, and brought them something that could have easily been used against me to jack up the prices or services. I'm giving them a five star simply because I brought them a car that wasn't the norm. I have a 1976 Datsun 280Z with a SBC 350 swap in it. I brought it to them to help me with the carburetor, a fuel leak and rear suspension issues I was having difficulty repairing myself. They told me that there were a few cars ahead of me, but still managed to get my car back to me within the week! I was pleased. Fastest shop so far that has seen the car. As far as the service goes, the rear suspension I knew was going to be difficult, but they tackled the issue without even a comment. The carburetor was overhauled and tuned, and they said there was something about the sending unit in the fuel tank that needed replacement. Honestly, I didn't probe much about the sending unit.. There is still a slight leak in the fuel tank (possibly a line issue honestly), leaving a gaseous smell in my garage. (They wouldn't have seen this leak since it needed a full tank and I failed to bring it to them with one). And the carburetor still isn't perfect (After over an hour of driving it, the performance dips and had issues twice with the engine bogging down, as well as a random complete shut off) Both issues I don't blame them for, since they are limited and cannot just take a customer's car out for a two hour shake down drive. The prices were actually "normal" as far as other shops go when it comes to a unique car. Most shops will not even touch my car, and they didn't even hesitate to say yes. For that, and their clear communications and fair pricing, I give them a five star. I'm sure they'd rather not see my car ever again, but I would trust them with further services of my car in the future if it is things I cannot do on my own. I am planning on calling them about the fuel leak and carburetor issue to see what they think and possibly bring it back to have these dealt with (If they are comfortable tackling it again)

Oil service completed on 2013 Audi Q7. FYI, service is done on a first come first serve basis, so wait time can vary. Service was completed with all necessary parts having been pre-ordered the night before. This will be the third time that I have used KAMS to service my Audi. Previous maintenance included a complete brake job and the replacement of the battery. Overall, very satisfied with the work performed. I also like the convenience to my home.
